WHAT IS PROVIRONO

Mesterolone, known also by the brand name Provirono, is a compound that’s very similar to Masteron – as you might be able to tell from their similar names. Mesterolone is an orally active compound that’s similar to dihydrotestosterone. Specifically, it’s a 1-methylated dihydrotestosterone molecule.

One of the main changes that methylating DHT in this particular place does is allows Proviron to be consumed orally. This is much different than a lot of other steroids which need to be injected for any effect to be felt.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

When used excessively, certain steroids can convert to estrogen, and bodybuilders taking these steroids can suffer gynecomastia (development of male breasts) as a result. Proviron blocks this conversion process, bodybuilders have used it to mediate the side effects of excess steroid use. Because Proviron chemically resembles DHT, it exerts the same effects of increasing muscle hardness and promoting strength gains. For this reason, strength athletes have used Proviron to enhance performance in weightlifting, track and field, and other sports requiring strength and explosiveness.

HOW TO USE PROVIRONO

Provirono comes in a 25 mg tablet. As a modified form of dihydrotestosterone, a metabolite of testosterone, it has been known to produce positive results depending on how it’s used. In medical scenarios, dosage recommended to treat testosterone or androgen insufficiencies were typically started at about 75 mg a day. Depending on results, the dosage was then typically lowered to 25 mg to 50 mg a day to support testosterone availability and fertility. Bodybuilders and athletes using the drug for its androgenic/anabolic properties typically consume anywhere from 50 mg a day to 150 mg daily.

Because it’s not a fast-acting drug, bodybuilders notice that it can take some time to begin noticing benefits and talk about being patient. Resist the urge to drastically increase dosage for more immediate results. Taking steroids for bodybuilding is already harmful enough to your body, to the point where you’re much better of not taking them at all, never mind increasing the dosage. Bodybuilders today might incorporate Proviron into cycles that last as long as 8-12 weeks. Combining drugs can also increase risk of side effects.

Most commonly used during cutting or donating phases, the drug is often stacked with other strong anabolic steroids to increase viscosity and to enhance fat-burning capabilities.

Because of its behaviors in the body, it is often used as an anti-aromatizing drug to prevent side effects like gynecomastia, along with other aromatase inhibitors such as Nolvadex. Like most steroids, a Proviron PCT is required after a cycle though.

Some people have used the drug to help with their sex drive and libido, as well as for fertility and sperm count.

PROVIRONO SIDE EFFECTS

It ranges from mild to severe, depending on usage.

• Headache
• Gynecomastia
• Fluid retention
• Excessive growth of hair on the body
• Changes in attitude and behaviors
• Priapism
• Possible jaundice

Proviron triggers the typical side effects of most anabolic androgenic steroids, and as such, has an influence over hormonal and metabolic functions in the body. Each of these aspects can trigger negative side effects that can lead to severe adverse reactions. Some people are more sensitive to Proviron than others. Caution with use is advised. Proviron side effects are not always severe, but while experiencing positive Proviron effects, always monitor your body’s reaction to it. Proviron hair loss is not a myth, and it can happen, with or without a predisposition for hair loss for male pattern baldness.

Taking other drugs to reduce the androgenic side effects of Proviron may help to prevent some side effects, but not all, and not all to the same degree.
